
Gary was an Audit Partner with Deloitte, an international Big 4 audit firm. He has over 22 years of public accounting experience in the audit of both private and public listed companies which were involved in advertising, manufacturing, trading, retail, construction, property development, engineering, plantation and other service industries.
His experiences also include audit and accounting advisory work, financial due diligence review, reviews of financial models and reporting accountants work for initial public offerings (“IPO”), reverse takeovers (“RTO”) and other corporate exercises of public listed companies.
In his time with Deloitte, Gary was an Audit Group Manager, Deloitte Malaysia Audit Talent Partner, Deloitte South East Asia Mobility Champion and Deloitte Malaysia Leader for Deloitte Global IFRS Offering Services (“GIOS”). As GIOS Leader, Gary has been involved, both as Engagement Partner and Advisory Partner, on numerous IPOs and RTOs engagements which include listings on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Singapore Stock Exchange.
He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”), and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”), United Kingdom.
Gary was a member of the Capital Market Advisory Committee (“CMAC”) of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”), which was set up to serve as a liaison between MIA, regulators and key stakeholders on capital market related matters in Malaysia.
Gary also currently serves as the Chairman of the Public Practice Committee of ACCA Malaysia.

Yong Tatt started his professional career with Deloitte Malaysia, which was part of Deloitte, an international Big 4 audit firm, where he spent more than 6 years before leaving as an Audit Manager in 2017.
He has been involved in the audits of both private and public listed companies which were involved in advertising, manufacturing, trading, retail and other service industries. He was also a Deloitte US GAAP Accredited auditor and he was involved in the audit of Deloitte Malaysia’s and Deloitte SEA’s only US SEC Registrant audit client, which was then listed on the US NASDAQ Global Market.
While at Deloitte, Yong Tatt also gained experience in performing audit and accounting advisory services to selected clients.
Yong Tatt also has 2 years of experience in the private sector as the Group Chief Financial Officer of a large group of private limited companies. He reported directly to the Managing Director cum shareholders, and gained experience in the finance, operations, budgeting, treasury and other corporate affairs in the private sector.
During this time, he was involved, as a representative of management, in the proposed initial public offerings (“IPO”) of a company on the Catalist Market of Singapore Exchange Limited (“SGX”).
Yong Tatt is a Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) and ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant (“ACPA”), and a Fellow Member of the Association (“ACCA”), United Kingdom.
